Aranya Thai Bistro Oh boy oh boy! Another neighborhood Thai place NOT in Chinatown area. Love when we can save time and not have to drive all the way to Chinatown. Upon entering the restaurant, we were quickly greeted by the server and seated, [...] The Maple Tree Two words. Fried bread. I think that was the best thing to come out of The Maple Tree. The ooey gooey sweet syrup and the warm and chewy bread hit the spot. The other stuff was pretty alright, too. Bachi Burger With all these glowing reviews, we finally hauled our bootays over to the other side of town to try it. Boy, were we satisfied! So, what does Bachi burger mean? Another hole-in-the-wall find! 808 Hawaii Mixed Plate opened about a month ago, and with the recommendation of friends, we went there for lunch. Their menu had all the typical hawaiian foods, and here’s what we tried first: Pho Saigon 8 After the flavor and texture fail of Pho Village, my fat girl senses sent me searching for a better Pho fix at Pho Saigon 8. 1. Pho Tai – Definitely much better quality of Pho broth. Beefy and satisfying Pho Village I also stopped in here Saturday after everyone seemed to be liking this place so much. They were raving about the cleanliness of the place. Agreed. They are also commenting on the great service, nice staff, and 10% off the check. Check, [...] Sushi Fever Turned off by the thought that it is indeed the trendy sushi place to be, but also attracted to it because EVERYONE says it’s sooooo good, I finally gave in and went to sushi fever.
