Hanging around the Wailea area, my brother and his wife suggested our last
meal be at Duo for breakfast. Being at the Four Seasons, I actually
had some higher expectations.

1. Veggie frittatas – I found this quite appetizing after all the
greasy food that we were eating in the last few days. The imbedded
veggies did not cause the frittata to be soggy, and the fresh baby
spinach on top added a nice earthy crunch.
2. Skillet breakfast- the ratio of veggies to egg was also optimal.
It was not soggy and the portuguese sausage was juicy and
saltyriferous! Yum.
3. Corned beef hash – had great flavor but i forgot to ask for well
done. So, it was not as crispy as I would like it to be.
4. Complimentary smoothy of mango, pineapple, Ginger and spinach –
this sounded really diferent and may also sound disgusting but it was
very pleasant and refreshing!

Conclusion: The items are well done but minus points for being
pricey, and probably the most expensive breakfast that I’ve ever paid for. I admit, though, that it is the trade off for being in a resort area and major plus side is that there is a fantastic view of the ocean in a calm, relaxing environment. 3.75/5 beeperoos.
