This is my 3rd visit to Rosemary’s and this time it was for Mother’s Day brunch. There was only a prix fixe menu option on this day. So, you’ll see below the options that we had. I won’t go into too much detail because it wasn’t like the usual spectacular Rosemary’s meal that we’ve had on our past two trips. It was definitely above average, but did not blow our socks off. Perhaps, it was because the options were actually kind of boring. No wonderful hugo’s bbq shrimp, no carpaccio or tartare to choose, no elegant succulent plates of meat dishes to choose from. And, NO CREME BRULEE! The best creme brulee ever! It was just fish, chicken or lasagna (?!!!… probably for the vegetarians).

First Course
Sweet Corn Soup with Chive Compound Butter
Parmesan & Scrambled Duck Eggs with Shaved Prosciutto, Garlic Biscuits & Truffle Aioli
Butter Lettuce tossed in Citrus Vinaigrette with Poached Shrimp, Dice Avocado & Toasted Pistachios

Second Course
Sage & Mustard Crusted Striped Bass on a bed of Wild Mushrooms, English Peas & Ricotta Gnocchi’s with Tomato Beurre Blanc
Grilled Chicken Paillard on Celery Root Potato Puree with Baby Arugula & Herb Chicken Jus

Third Course
Dark Chocolate Ice Cream topped with a Shot of Espresso & Almond Biscotti
Warm Raspberry Cobbler with Sweet Cream Ice Cream

Conclusion: Food was very good classic French, but this meal was boring compared to what we’ve had with previous Rosemary’s experiences. I must say that the service is IMPECCABLE and FANTASTIC! I will return for non-Mother’s Day prix fixe or a la carte from the menu. 3/5 beeps.
